Grigg began his AFL career with Carlton after being recruited by the Blues via North Ballarat Rebels with pick 19 in the 2006 national draft.
He represented Vic Country under-18s and earned All-Australian selection at the level.
The now 30-year-old debuted with Carlton in 2007 and went on to cobble together 43 matches in four seasons.
Looking for more opportunities, Grigg made his way to Richmond and has not looked back.
He played his first game for the Tigers in the opening round in 2011 – the first of 21 games he appeared in that season.
As his 157th match for Richmond, he is also in elite company at the Tigers.
Grigg also has the distinction of having played in two international rules games for Australia
